Jonathan’s work explores the landscape, using a wide range of material and techniques exploiting many aspects of mixed media. Places are revisited many times, often working in the location to capture the atmosphere and personal feelings associated with a particular environment. The results are paintings that are powerful in colour and texture and rich in personal emotional response.
